Hon’ble MoS for Home Affairs Sri Kishan Reddy Gangapuram and MA&UD Minister Sri KTR inaugurated the Durgam Cheruvu Cable Stayed Bridge and the 4-lane elevated corridor from Road No.45 to Durgam Cheruvu. Ministers Sri Mahmood Ali, Sri Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Smt Sabitha Indra Reddy , Sri V Srinivas Goud, MP Dr RanjithReddy, Mayor Sri Bonthu Rammohan, Chief Secretary Sri Somesh Kumar and other public representatives and officials were present.
-Durgam Cheruvu Bridge connects the Hi-tec City & the Financial District with other parts of the city, relieving congestion on Road No: 36, Jubilee Hills and Madhapur Road. This structure also reduces distance for traffic from Jubilee Hills to MindSpace & Gachibowli.
-The GHMC constructed the #DurgamCheruvuBridge making it the longest span concrete deck extradosed cable stayed bridge in the world.
హైదరాబాద్‌లో దుర్గం చెరువుపై నిర్మించిన కేబుల్‌ బ్రిడ్జిని కేంద్రమంత్రి శ్రీ కిషన్‌రెడ్డితో కలిసి పురపాలక శాఖ మంత్రి శ్రీ కేటీఆర్‌ ప్రారంభించారు. ఈ వంతెన అందుబాటులోకి రావడంతో మాదాపూర్‌, జూబ్లీహిల్స్‌ మధ్య ట్రాఫిక్‌ ఇబ్బందులు తగ్గనున్నాయి. ఎస్సార్‌డీపీ పనుల్లో భాగంగా జీహెచ్‌ఎంసీ దీని నిర్మాణం చేపట్టింది. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో మంత్రులు శ్రీ తలసాని శ్రీనివాస్‌యాదవ్‌, శ్రీ వి శ్రీనివాస్‌గౌడ్‌, శ్రీమతి సబితా ఇంద్రారెడ్డి, ఎంపీ డాక్టర్ రంజిత్‌రెడ్డి, నగర మేయర్‌ శ్రీ బొంతు రామ్మోహన్‌ తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
