During the meeting, the members discussed various issues indepth with the heads of pharma companies that are involved in the production of Covid19 Vaccines.

Minister assured all possible help from the Telangana Govt. to expedite various steps involved in commercialization of Covid vaccines. Minister stated that the Govt. is exploring all possible options to procure sufficient quantity of vaccines for citizens of the state.

Among the issues discussed in the meeting were the progress in the development of various types of vaccines by different companies, their production capacities, and the tentative availability of vaccines in the market.

Among those who participated in today’s meetings were top management representatives from Natco Pharma, Biological E. Ltd, BharatBiotech, Serum Institute of India, Sanofi India, Virchow Biotech, Zydus Cadila, Hetero Drugs, Gland Pharma, Indian Immunologicals, and Dr Reddy’s Labs.

Taskforce members including Principal Secretaries Jayesh Ranjan & Vikas Raj, Panchayati Raj Chief Secretary Sandeep Sultania, SC Development Dept Secretary Rahul Bojja, Special Secretary to CM Rajasekhar Reddy, TSIIC Vice Chairman Narsimha Reddy, & Life Sciences Director Shakthi Nagappan participated.
