Minister KTR inaugurated Box Drain Nala, taken up under Strategic Nala Development Programme (SNDP), stretching from Bandlaguda Cheruvu to Nagole Cheruvu in LB Nagar. The remodelling of existing drains and construction of new ones will prevent inundation in flood prone areas.
Ayyappa Colony, Raghavendra Nagar Colony, Gateway Colony, and households in areas surrounding the Nala will benefit from the SNDP works. Labour Minister Sri Chamakura Malla Reddy, MLA Sri Devireddy Sudheer Reddy, MLC Smt Surabhi Vani Devi and others were present on the occasion.
లోతట్టు ప్రాంతాల్లో వరద నివారణకు ఎల్బీనగర్ జోన్లో వ్యూహాత్మక నాలా అభివృద్ధి కార్యక్రమం ద్వారా బండ్లగూడ చెరువు నుంచి నాగోల్ చెరువు వరకు చేపట్టిన బాక్స్ డ్రైన్ పనులు పూర్తికావడంతో మంత్రి శ్రీ కేటీఆర్ నేడు లాంఛనంగా ప్రారంభించారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో మంత్రి శ్రీ మల్లారెడ్డి, ఎమ్మెల్యే శ్రీ సుధీర్ రెడ్డి, ఎమ్మెల్సీ శ్రీమతి సురభి వాణీదేవి తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
