Minister KTR shared his thoughts on ‘Telangana Lifesciences Industry’s Vision For 2030’ at a panel discussion of moneycontrol.com at World Economic Forum in Davos. The other panelists were Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd Co-Chairman & MD GV Prasad & PwC India Partner Mohammad Athar.During the discussion, Minister KTR stated that the life sciences sector in India needs revolutionary reforms to strengthen the sector and compete with the world.Minister highlighted that Telangana is known as the ‘Vaccine Capital of the World’ and Life Sciences capital of the Country. He added that Hyderabad Pharma City will be the world’s largest pharma cluster, spread across 19,000 acres.
దావోస్‌ లో జరుగుతున్న వరల్డ్ ఎకనామిక్ ఫోరమ్‌ సదస్సులో భాగంగా మనీ కంట్రోల్ డాట్ కామ్ నిర్వహించిన ‘తెలంగాణ లైఫ్‌సైన్సెస్ ఇండస్ట్రీస్ విజన్ ఫర్ 2030’ ప్యానెల్ డిస్కషన్‌లో మంత్రి కేటీఆర్ పాల్గొన్నారు. డా. రెడ్డీస్ లాబొరేటరీస్ లిమిటెడ్ కో-ఛైర్మన్ & MD GV ప్రసాద్, PwC ఇండియా పార్టనర్ మహ్మద్ అథర్ లు కూడా ఈ చర్చలో పాల్గొన్నారు.భారతదేశంలో లైఫ్ సైన్సెస్ రంగాన్ని ప్రపంచంతో పోటీ పడేలా బలోపేతం చేయడానికి విప్లవాత్మక సంస్కరణలు అవసరమని మంత్రి కేటీఆర్ పేర్కొన్నారు.తెలంగాణ ‘వ్యాక్సిన్‌ క్యాపిటల్ ఆఫ్‌ ది వరల్డ్’ గానూ, ‘లైఫ్ సైన్సెస్ క్యాపిటల్’ గానూ పేరొందిందని మంత్రి వివరించారు. హైదరాబాద్ ఫార్మా సిటీ 19,000 ఎకరాల్లో విస్తరించి ప్రపంచంలోనే అతిపెద్ద ఫార్మా క్లస్టర్‌గా అవతరించనుందని ఆయన తెలిపారు.
